Forums Other Destination advice All Indonesia App

Was just about to board my flight to CGK when loyalty lobby posted about the brand new All Indonesia App. I quickly downloaded it and filled in my details including my Evisa that I obtained a few weeks back.

The app dispenses with the need for separate health and customs e forms, which I had done too.

On arrival I went to the passport E gate which were the fastest I have ever encountered anywhere. No need to show my visa it was all already stored.
After collecting my bags you exit via a check point where they scan the QR code generated by the app and this tells them how many passengers and bags. The QR downloads to you photos on the phone so
no need for data, though free WiFi was available.

It was super efficient and a marked departure from
Mh last arrival in CGK which was rather chaotic.

Ha, in terms of the usual Indo immigration advance notice, they announced this midday last Sunday with an effective time of 6 am the following morning. Will see how it works on Tuesday, assuming I can link it to my long term visa.
