Excellent stay in the I/C Bellevue, Seattle. Uber hop required to Pike Place etc but much nicer environment and far safer than downtown and no tramps/beggars around. Some great restaurants in the area too.
The hotel was excellent and booked on points with an upgrade voucher. Usual amenity charge of 25$ and a 20% gratuity on a free breakfast However to be fair to the hotel both cancelled when I pushed back so as they say shy bairns get nowt
Interesting – unlike Hilton, IHG don’t promise to waive “resort fees” on award stays. But like you say, if you don’t ask, you don’t get!
It’s happened here and at The Willard! Adding 20% on a free breakfast is just wrong and the amenity to cover coffee and internet that I can get in the room is outrageous given rack rate plus didn’t need the gym!
