    I signed up to the BA Premium plus card at the end of February, due to the 70,000 bonus if you spend 3,000 in the first 3 months. Get an email on the 27th April to say card is suspended on Apple Pay. So I contact them and they say they need 2 months bank statements. I send these over straight away. As of today it’s still suspended. I’ve been in contact with amex several times and all they could tell me is that it’s still under review. However my last call the woman told me that the “hard part” was over and that they’re just waiting on a response now from amex. As at 27th April I was only £260 quid away from the bonus points and now the period of 3 months is up. Will they extend this if they reactivate my card? Can I also add that I made payments on time and had nothing owing. My income was correct as well as I’m an employee. It’s 6 weeks tomorrow since it was suspended. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is there anyway of getting this resolved quicker? On the app is doesn’t actually say my card is suspended but I haven’t tried to use it since.

    Exactly the same happened to me, the BA points collecting was the real reason I joined, and within a month of opening my account with 0 balance as i was always paying off, in fact, it’s in credit they owe me. , My Account was put into review, the documents requested were sent the same day, called multiple times, and apparently, no one has looked at my documents, it’s been months, and definitely will not hit the points target. I really feel it’s just used as a tool so you don’t hit the target.
