Hi all,
Signed up for this card recently. Had the card about a week, transactions have posted but the bonus spend tracker is not showing.
Any reason why it wouldn’t be? I checked beforehand that i was eligible for the SUB before I signed up.
You can just ask them in the chat for your spend total at any given time
Haven’t seen a sign up bonus tracker on an Amex card for years. They phased them out, although I do recall a slight anomaly a couple of years ago where one was visible on my online account for a few days before disappearing.
My BAPP companion voucher tracker shows on the app, in the Membership Tab, but nothing shows for Platinum sign up bonus (I upgraded ARCC yesterday for 75k miles promo) and I dont recall the BAPP sign up bonus tracker either. Customer services will provide the info upon request, you will need to check how many of the most recent transactions have been included.
Thanks. I have contacted them, they have forwarded to technical team to fix. Told to check back 7-10 working days.
@n1368585 my wife signed up for the Platinum about a month ago and is seeing exactly the same, no tracker on either the desktop website or mobile app. We had waited until the first statement to see if that had any mention since a google search turned up some Amex pages suggesting it would show on the statement, but there was nothing on there either.
After chatting with them this morning they confirmed that the welcome bonus is showing on the account and the current spend towards it, when asked about being able to see it online she got a different response to you, the agent claimed it should show online but due to some maintenance/technical issues this is currently broken.
I had a Platinum myself towards the end of 2023 and I’m sure back then there was a tracker in the app and on the website for the signup bonus.
@Dom thanks for the reply. Yes exactly the same here – held one a few years back and the tracker definitely loaded up.
I have had 4 different excuses from chat and calls for plat business bonus.
1. 30 days after spending required amount
2. Bonus not showing for your card.
3. 90 days from reaching target spend.
4. Software problems
Today- she will call me back when talking to 1 of the 4 people who process these sign up bonuses. She could not do it manually as needs authorisation.
Met the spend criteria for the recent 80000 MR offer (100000 for referral actually) for new platinum card. Have more than 10000 MR points now based on spend achieved at end of last week and still no sign of additional bonus MR points on my account.
It should have been posted along with the last qualified purchase and credit of MR points associated with it but not sure if Amex is having some manual intervention now a days which is taking it longer for bonus to post?

Any update re. Your sign up bonus? I think I’m having the same issue.
Still no sign up bonus after hitting required spend on 28th March.

28th March! Surely you would have had an answer if not resolution by now?
