Apologies if this is an obvious question but I had a dig around to see if this was answered elsewhere and I couldn’t find anything.
Does a FHR booking trigger the above offer? If so, is there any downside to prepaying for an overseas Conrad stay? Would I get FHR benefits without the points?
Thanks in advance.
Yes will Trigger offer if prepaid, still get all FHR benefits.
By pre paying the booking goes via Expedia and therefore technically you wouldn’t be eligible for Hilton member perks/points but you might still get them.
Thanks, the FHR benefits would make up for the lack of perks. The £100 Cashback is likely to outweigh any points earning but think I’ll take a closer look at the numbers.
where is this offer available?
It appeared on selected Platinum cards last month.
Interested in views on this. I have the offer saved on my platinum card, expiring 23rd March. Last August I booked a FHR “pay at hotel” booking for the IC Ljubljana – staying in April.
Do you reckon if I call Amex travel they will let me settle the bill in advance, which based on the cost of the rooms would trigger the offer, or is it a choice at the time of booking that is then fixed?

I’m interested in this as well, can anyone confirm is it a ‘stay by 23rd March’ or ‘pay by 23 March’ offer??
And do you def get no status benefits if booking through Amex Travel, I am Hilton Diamond and normally always book through the Hilton website
Thanks

For 3rd party bookings (what the FHR pre paid option is) the Hilton programme terms say no but the property might still look after you / IT gremlins work in your favour.

Thanks, tbh I’m looking at Embassy Suites properties so extra benefits are thin, FHR properties just too expensive.
