Hi I’m planning to buy a ticket using Virgin Points for my nephew to travel to Tokyo. He lives in Leeds.
I’m trying to work out best value for points and savings in air taxes. id welcome your thoughts on whether I should get him a direct return flight from LHR to Tokyo on ANA or KLM from LBA change AMS to Tokyo?Economy? Go with the easy option which is KLM.
Business? ANA is far superior but your chance of getting a seat isn’t huge so it may end up being KLM anyway!
Plan C would be Leeds Bradford to Frankfurt or another ANA European base where you are more likely to get a premium cabin redemption.
