Looking at a booking on United for next year. The cheapest Business Class seats are coming up on United, but since the booking is for April/May next year, I can hold off for a bit if there is a chance of Amex United offer coming back.
I appreciate there is no crystal ball which can predict offers like this but based on the previous offer roll-outs, is there a chance of it coming back? I have only used it once before, which saved me a chunky £500. So I am keen to save another £500 if possible.
Not united but Etihad £200 back on £800 spend on our platinum cards
And of course even if it does come back you might not be targeted for it.
Unless it’s Sweaty Betty, you can’t plan your purchases on the basis of Amex cashback offers reappearing. They’re far too random in their frequency and indeed in whose cards they appear on.
I’d say go ahead and plan your trip around the best flights for you according to cash price and timing. If you happen to have a game changing offer come along by the time you’re ready to book, great. But more likely you’ll get a few quid back using a shopping portal and that will be it.
