I’ve just had a look for some Munich flights and it looks like ALL days on ALL flights have availability. I haven’t booked as already had a booking, but this is also appearing on other routes too… maybe someone worth having a proper look if you’re looking at booking?
I just got notification from Seatspy re: LON-KUA and yes, wide open. I went through and booked the returns with companion vouchers and the booking has been confirmed, I’ve received the etickets. GO GO GO
Hmmmmmm – looks like they’ve fixed it… but that was crazy! Everywhere I searched had every flight on offer
Oh. Well, I’ll let you know if they cancel my tickets – not sure what the protocol is there once I’ve paid and got eTickets?
Oh man, I was deliberating on dates and now all the availability has gone again. Should have just booked.
They’ve pulled all the availability just as I submitted payment!
Literally jumped onto it as soon as I got a Seatspy alert. Now it’s all gone. Ho hum.
That sucks. No cancellation for me yet – I can still access Manage my Booking. Simple IT error? Fat fingers when loading up extra availability on some routes resulting in all routes getting it?
In any case am now expecting a cancellation message, we’ll see
Yes Seat Spy notifications were pinging continuously. Saw 8/2/4 in Eco/prem/club seats to many SE Asia destinations for peak holiday dates. Booked online, payment taken, & e-tickets received with thanks.
Had the same for Cape Town, all dates with at least 2/4 or even 8 BC seats available. Called BA and there was no availability at all. Is this a normal thing from seat spy? It is still showing available as I type on seat spy?

BA don’t fly to KUA, where are you thinking?

Presumably there is a lag on their data.
Need to change outbound to Kul and it came up via Seatspy alert. Was on hold and never got connected as it was pulled. Could have booked as a single with full avios and asked them to merge but not sure if that works if you already have a flight. I’ve done it before to add a return to an outbound where no return was booked
Seriously, what the hell is going on with BA and their IT at the moment…
I was on-hold with BA for over 45 mins (mere Blue member) and by the time I got through to someone, no more availability at all.
So was it an error or people managed to book it right off the alert?

I’m going to choose ‘crap BA IT’
I hope pulling the availability is the error.
I was monitoring ATL availability in late June and it’s been good for the last week, but they have suddenly pulled a lot of it, but not all today
I think it is an error, as they seem to have removed ALL availability on GLA to London
I bagged a Maldives return in Feb as I had a Seatspy alert ping this morning 😎 Availability seems to have gone now though…

Yes. I saw those for Cape Town on the website and JNB too, which also had 1st availability. Unfortunately by the time I agreed dates with family every flight on every day I had looked at had been removed.
There was also lots for Atlanta including 1st.
Very bizarre things happening re Avios availability currently. I’ve been monitoring a few destinations for F, and even the likes of JNB which has had great F availability throughout the year now has 2 seats for the whole year. And both of those are for this August.
I think either someone or BA IT just seriouslly messed up. Availablility on some routes went wide open, almost like they were newly loaded and the 4 seats bacme available. I managed to get 2 return seats in Business over Easter next year and also return flights from Cape Town start of January. No way these should have been available on avios, so thank you either BA IT or the person who hit the wrong button!
Can’t even login now!
EDIT: Can login after many attempts but get this error:
We’re sorry, but ba.com is very busy at the moment, and couldn’t deal with your request. Please do try again – if it still doesn’t work, it may be better to try again at another time.Try another time when all seats are gone!!!
I saw same for Cape Town on BA website 4 cW every day as I was checking if any first , already have business. However when for interest clicked on it to book got error message.
I was lucky two weeks ago that i booked a LHR-SYD in J when the same issue occured! Today i had so much time to book the same or one of the next year’s bank holidays but had zeroed my avios.
Hope most of you people managed to grab your desired seats!
