Can anyone explain this weird thing in the Avios app for me please?
Flew MAN-DUB at the weekend. Booked and paid through our work travel system but I was able to use the details to add it to my BA account in the BA app. The flight was operated by Aer Lingus.
330 Avios were credited to my account referencing the flight. Then two lots of 165 Avios were removed with references to a flight between Heathrow and Istanbul – a return trip. I didn’t make/book this journey.
Any ideas please?
Just call and inquire, and double check your credit cards.
I don’t suppose you are on a household account where someone in the household book that flight?

Nothing untoward on credit cards. If I can find the spare time/energy to deal with their rubbish customer service I will!

Yes we’re a household account but no my partner has not booked a flight to Istanbul. I also find that the details of transactions he make don’t show within my Avios app, and vice versa.
The fact that 2x 165 = 330, the same amount I was credited for the flight that I did take, seems odd.
