Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club BA Concorde Room and First Wing access

  • 42 posts

I have a 10 hour layover at LHR arriving in First Class in the am and departing in the pm to MAN in Club Europe.

If I leave the airport to go into central London, can I still access the Concorde Lounge, and can I utilise First Wing check-in in the evening?

I take it I can leave my hold luggage with BA at the airport and still collect at my final destination? My full trip is all on one ticket.

    Thanks

The simple answer is yes and if you are on the same ticket I would assume very straight forward, but if on separate tickets be prepared to argue for it.

Did this recently but seemed no one at the First Wing actually knew the rules. Had issues both at the desk getting the BP and then getting them to let me through the lounge and security part. The ironic part was they even said, well you can you the First lounge, but not the First Wing. After a supervisor finally looked it up on an iPad they allowed me to proceed!

To confirm you can enter the CCR and to be fair I had no issues getting in there.

    Thanks. Great answer.

Keep hold if your inbound F boarding pass!

If you hand over both, saying something like “this one is my onwards flight and this one is the inbound”, that’s normally enough for the BA staff to be able to override any “computer says no” cases
