BA customise trip – USA domestic

Has anyone had any luck customising a BA flight/hotel with US domestic flights, say NYC area to LAX etc?

I thought with access to AA etc that it might let me do something like this, but it appears not.

You can probably book it over the phone, it’s somewhat hit and miss what you can do online.

Are you using the BA Hols custom trip option?

I’ve done it several times with no issues whatsoever.

Mission: Price up NYC area to LAX or SFO or even SEA for next year.
Outcome: Denied

I would prefer BA, but their limited website means I am now considering defecting to another airline.

Ah this now looks like you want a pure US domestic holiday?

If so, BA don’t sell those but will sell US domestics as part of a trip originating in the UK (which is what I book).

Try AA vacations or even an OTA if that’s what you want. You can still earn avios and TPs.
