    Flyertalk suggests this info is out of date by a few years but this could have been proven wrong since – BA’s IT works in mysterious ways after all!

    It could well be out of date. I suppose it depends on when they find plane actually is full and there aren’t expected no shows (business flexible tickets) . Of course it used to have to be at gate and last minute. Nowadays it could be earlier and time to get a new meal. They might also have changed policy, but historically would never serve a club (special) meal in First.
