BA flight with 1 stop at LHR

I am flying back from Hamburg to Belfast with BA on 2nd May. Is it possible to change the flight so I arrive at LHR and can stay at a hotel, and continue on to Belfast the next morning? Ie. a 12 hour stopover where I leave the airport. Rather than my originally planned 2 hour stopover in LHR. If so, can I make these changes online?

If this is flight only then you may be able to do it in MMB using the change flight option and then pay any additional fare.

Otherwise it’s a call. It will aLao involve a reprice of the entire trip.

What I would do is do a dummy booking of your desired trip and compare it to the price you paid for your current one and then decide from there what to do.
