BA Premium Amex

I have a BA Premium Amex on which I have recently got a 2-4-1 voucher. There is another 6 months of my card year left and I am not using the card at the moment. I do want to get another 2-4-1 voucher next year. Will any of the following work…
1. Change card to the free BA Amex for 6 months and then change it back to BA Premium Amex to get another 2-4-1 voucher
2. Cancel card and reopen it after 6 months and get another 2-4-1 voucher
3. Cancel card and repone it after 90 days and start a new (sooner) card year and get a 2-4-1 quicker

Yes, all of those will work subject to Amex allowing you to downgrade and upgrade for 1) and subject to Amex approving your application for 2) and 3). You’re unlikely to have any problems if you earn >£35k and have a decent credit score, but it’s not impossible for there to be an issue.
