BA Voucher + Avios on hard to book destinations

Hi guys

Looking for a one way reward seat with voucher to one of the popular locations – Singapore or Maldives (obviously one way and flexible which way).

I’m sure people have said before and I’m aware these are (when checking) all sold out so getting one will be hard, but what is the best approach to trying to get one? Refresh at a set time, wait until a release of seats later in the year etc? They all seem sold out but somebody has to get them… unless there is just never reward availability on this flight?

Why “obviously one way”? – you do know the voucher halves the Avios required for both legs of a return?

Confusing with the upgrade voucher? Though of course if booking one-way, it would need to be used departing the UK.
