Evening all,
I have booked a holiday from Dublin to New York and the original price of the holiday was in Euros, and I paid the deposit and first instalment in Euros.
I am trying to pay today’s instalment, and every time I go to enter my ‘card type’, it changes:
a) the total balance owed from Euros to GBP, and
b) the instalment amount changes from Euros to GBP
Is this a known issue? What is the workaround here?
I’ve tried both Chrome and Edge – both are throwing up the same error.
Thanks
You probably need to change the BA website to the Irish version
On the website in the top rioght there will be an Union Flag. Click on that and another screen appears enabliung you to change it to Ireland and hopefully that should solve the issue.
Ah – I forgot to say I tried that – both via the website and via VPN.
No change – issue remains 🙁
…Even if I try and change the payment card billing country to Belgium (where I hold a current account) – the error is still happening – changes the EUR sign to ‘£’.
I think I will have to give BA a call. It’s very odd and it didn’t happen the last time.
