BAPP 60K promo supplementary card query

Hi all,

I intend to sign up for the BAPP 60K card promo through BA.

I understand that if you signup for the supplementary card, you will get free 3K Avios Points.

My question is:
1) Does this apply to the BAPP 60K promo
2) Will I get it if I sign up for a supplementary card alongside the original card, or it has to be after receiving the card?

If you want the 3k, you need to get the supp card later on, not as part of the original application.

Can confirm that about the supplementary user. I added one on the day the card arrived and the 3K Avios was in my account by the evening.

Thanks, Could i ask how fast did you get your card once you completed application?

I applied on May 1st around 5pm and then got accepted straight away. I got an email that it was on the way at 7am the next day, and then got another email at 8pm that it got dispatched. It arrived on May 3rd. It’s Royal Mail 1st class.

You can somewhat tell when the card’s made as well. Previous Platinum cards in March were getting made at 12:35pm for me and the BAPP got made at 12:36pm.

You must not have had any of the BA Amex cards in the last 2 years.
