Hi all,
As I’ll be struggling to make the required remaining stays to retain Diamond for next year, I think I can re-qualify by meeting the remaining base point requirement (which is around 67,000 base points).
I have an 8-night stay booked in December for two rooms totalling the equivalent of $6769.
As the base point earning rate is 10 point per dollar this should net me around 67000 meaning I should hit that target.
Is the 10 base point per dollar as simple as the total cost spent (including the second room that I’ve booked for someone else).
The other question I have is that the check out date is 29th December. This is pretty close to the tier calendar year cut-off point – presumably the stay will register on check out regardless of when the points will actually post?

No, it’s the room price before tax in $*10. (as long as it’s not a Tru oe Home2 as they only earn 5/$)
Yes 29th will qualify whenever it eventually posts.
