I claimed my receipts in their visitor centre in December, how long does it take for the points to show up on your account from experience? I’m sure when I credited to Virgin flying club a few years ago they never actually turned up.

Bicester have been coercing people to submit their receipts online for processing. In fact, I’m surprised that they did it for you at the Visitor Centre. In any case, you should have received an email after about a week confirming the points to be allocated. They advise that points will post 40 days after that.
The Points usually show up on 5th of the month – mine haven’t this month so it’s possibly all the bank holidays and/or a backlog due to the busy time of year – most likely turn up on 5 February.
