Just noticed transfers to Hilton from Amex are now x2.6 instead of x2.
Not sure if this is a promotion or a permanent change?
Says extra 30% on transfers until 3rd Nov when I log in.
They have had Hilton transfer bonuses before but I don’think any were ever open to all so it will be interesting to see.
It’s on the banner page before I even log in so I would assume it’s open to all
Good deal then for those who really need Hilton points versus other MR transfer options. 10k MR gefs 26k Hilton for £80 (based on MR value MR-avios-Nectar) which beats $130 to buy 26k Hilton points during a 100% bonus promotion at current exchange rates. Buying 10k MR points from amex for £150 to convert to Hilton points obviously remains unattractive.
Thanks.
Not necessarily a massive deal but pushes the value above Nectar I suppose!
Different rates for different folks it seems tgen.

Doesn’t seem to be. A standard 30% uplift for everyone.
Hilton has disappeared from Amex Membership Rewards this morning!😲
If you worked on the basis that 1 HH = 0.4p, does this now mean that 1 HH is worth 0.3p to you?
A redemption of 25k HH would go from costing you £100 down to £75?
*on the basis that 1 MR = 1 Avios = 1.6 Nectar = 0.8p
Hilton has disappeared from Amex Membership Rewards this morning!😲
Phew, still there but not in the Hotel Partners section
I was offered the improved transfer rate when I signed into the Amex website on desktop. Just transferred at 2.6x to HH.
Given the £:$ at the moment seems great use of MR points.
Just jumped in on this and bagged over a million Hilton points, too tempting to turn down. I wonder if Hilton or Amex will be promoting this bonus at all? Seems odd to run secret bonus promos
We’ll get around to it on Thursday!
If it was, we’re talking a long time ago.
It was Virgin who took an axe to their Hilton conversion rate about 5 years ago.
Just searched my emails to see.
Q4 2019 50% extra offer
Q4 2020 25% extra offer
Q4 2021 no offer?
Q4 2022 30% extra offer
Yes, there wasn’t one last year, as I remember feeling disappointed.
