I’m hoping for some objective advice—I think I know the answer, but I’m willing myself on 😊. I’ve accrued the 25K bonus on the Barclaycard Plus, and to my surprise it looks like I can ‘boost’ these in the app earning 109 Avios per £1. A 300% boost (around £800) would take me to 170K Avios, which wasn’t my original plan, but with two upgrade vouchers, it seems to make a return Business Class trip to New York (plus BA taxes) possible. It feels like good value, but I wondered if I’m overlooking anything. We are really flexible with dates circa a years time. Any thought really appreciated. Thanks
if you have a use for the Avios which is higher value than you are paying for then its worth it. Only you would know the cash value of your flights versus using £800 of Avios, As an aside it is usually the cheapest price for buying Avios aside from subscription & signup offers on cards.
