Having joined Ambassador and hit the target I’ve now had six identical emails from IHG titled Bravo, you’ve earned 20,000 bonus points … which would be annoying enough on its own, but each time I check I have not, in fact, been credited with 20,000 points. Anyone got a suggestion who I might contact to reduce the number of emails and deliver the actual points?
I’ve had six emails as well and sent an email to the ambassador team earlier today.
I did get the points along with the stay – they were included in the bonus section along with my status bonus and 10k from the stay 4 nights get 10k points offer.
14 of those emails for me so far, one a day.
I have had the 20,000 though. Are you sure you haven’t? For me they appeared on the bonus points inside the relevant stay, same as BA flyer – I.e. it’s not an obvious separate item. The points for that stay did take a month to appear though.
Yup, a double check, and I have the points, my error. And my seventh email 🤣 … I’ve complained about this now, what good it will do I don’t know.
This is what they said in their reply to me –
“there seems to be a glitch in our emailing system but this was already been reported to our Technical support team to be fixed.”
And of course yet another of the emails was sent a couple of hours later!
They tossed some points my way for the “inconvenience” though!
