Business Class seat sharing

Hi guys

We have managed to amass 360k points and two companion vouchers over the last 14 months. We intend to use them to take us 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) plus the two grandmothers to Dubai. In an ideal world we would book 5 economy return flights on one booking and 2 business class returns on the other booking. The idea being that on the way there my wife and her mum use the business class seats and on the way back me and my mum use it. Is that possible? Will they let us share the seats like that?

Will anybody be upset if boarding cards are checked and instructions are issued to return to allocated seats?

Not a problem to do it this (what isn’t on is switching half way through a flight)

Tell one of the cabin crew what you are doing so they are aware of any name changes etc.
