I signed up for the Gold Charge Card back in March – it took all of 5 minutes for approval, cards within a week and voucher earned in 2 months.
Due to the new referral and sign-up bonuses my wife has attempted to obtain the Gold Charge Card – so far its taken 2 phone calls (us to them so not exactly a quick process) and an email from them with a VERY long list of documents required.
Another phone call to them and clarification on what they need as we explained we’re a small business, do our own accounts, with a basic written Partnership Agreement and certainly no inclination to get anything notarised.
They gave us 3 items required and these were sent – only to get another email today requesting notarised documents.
For the life of me I cannot see why they require so much, especially as my wife is an additional cardholder on my account and that setup required NONE of this hassle.
Ive told them where they can stick their Application and will be cancelling my card later today (we dont use it and none of the offers are of interest to date).
I take it my Voucher is safe and well until expiry?
