Buying points – how long to credit?

Hi,

Bought some points on Thursday. The message said they would credit to my account within I thin 72hrs but here we are 4 days later and no points. Anyone have any experience of why this might be or how long these are taking? I got a receipt and the transaction is showing as pending on my credit card.

For me it was instant, or within minutes at least

OK thanks. Am unsure whether I want to chase this up and draw interest to my account before the end of the month – but will be hugely annoyed if the redemption I’m eyeing gets more expensive. I see I have to chase with IHG, not points.com…
