Has anyone successfully used the upgrade voucher. Ive tried it on several routes where the amex 241 has availability and there is nothing for the BC upgrade voucher. Ive even checked 355 days ahead and nothing.
The Amex voucher has access to more availability. The Barclays voucher is best used on high frequency routes (New York) or out of season dates on secondary routes (Doha in summer).
Where/when are you looking? Are you selecting the voucher from your account page? If you’re trying to upgrade a flight with a regional connection, you have to call to book those.
Have you checked availability on SeatSpy (though not 100% accurate)? If there are award seats in your desired class available, you should be able to use the voucher to book them.
