Just completed the £10k spend and the 241 showing in my BA account. I’ve since received a number of refunds which take back under the £10k spend. I’m assuming Amex can’t claw back the voucher once posted due to the refunds?
Definitely can’t take it back.
Like other people, I had a number of airline refunds in 2020 & 2021 back onto cancelled BAPP cards which took the spend to below £10k on those cards. Never heard anything further from Amex.
You’d be surprised how many people who book a fully flexible BA ticket at the start of their BA Amex membership year end up cancelling it ….
I also had lots of refunds last year. Interestingly they don’t seem to have been added to the £10k target spend for the current year.

Same card?
Are you not churning?

We keep OH’s card long term and I churn. Might have a rethink on this at some point though!
