Does Virgin have family account kind of thing which let you pool points together?
I’ve seen it reported on here that if you call they will take points from more than one account for a booking. I think there may be a kind of household account, but only if you have high status with Virgin.
Nothing formal (certainly not for lower levels, although there may well be at the upper echelons as NL suggests).
That said, I’ve done numerous bookings over the years and there’s always been flexibility if I’ve needed it ie to use points from other immediate family members (no charge). Generally, i’ve found it has to be for ‘complete’ amounts ie for the cost of a whole segment for one (or more) person rather than just random amounts.
