how long should it take to get refund and miles back for cancelled reward flight i cancelled it 14 days ago

How long is a piece of string. Last time I cancelled one it took nearly three months, 5 calls and at first they only repaid half the cash and I had to keep on at them.

Everyone has a different experience. If you’re not happy after 2 weeks, call and keep calling every 2 weeks.

Expect to see lots of recalculations in your account as well – I cancelled 2 flights last year and points kept being added and deducted for about 3 months afterwards! There was a voucher involved though, which no doubt made it more complicated.

My VS cancellation resulted in points returning immediately, the DL one I got the taxes back but had to chase up the points after a couple of weeks but it was sorted on the phone.
