Cancelling Avios booking – evoucher page

I need to cancel some avios bookings. On the cancel booking page it goes to the evoucher page which now states

“If you have an Avios Reward Flight Saver, Reward Flight, Companion or Gold Upgrade Voucher booking, please note that by submitting this form you will be given a refund and your Companion or Gold Upgrade Voucher will revert back to the original expiry date”

Has anyone cancelled via this updated page and if so can they confirm that they were reimbursed with their avios points companion voucher and taxes minus the admin fee.

I cancelled a RFS flight a few days ago – the booking disappeared from my account immediately but no sign of the avios yet (only 4500 so I’m not desperate to start chasing them up just yet.) Not expecting any cash as it was only £17.50.

Yes I recently cancelled a flight via this page. I too was dubious but got points and cash refunded after a couple of weeks, although it quotes 4 weeks when you do it!

Is there a way of saving the £35/taxes charge by moving to a different date (same route) under BWC? Previously you could use the FTV option
