Good morning. Recently booked two lots of 2-4-1 BA reward flight to US for summer 2023 but wish to cancel. On manage my booking it is allowing me to change the date of flight free of charge.
If I change the date of the flights so the journey finishes by 30th September 2022 it is then possible to get a full refund by applying for an FTV on BA.COM? I am aware they are not issuing vouchers for avios bookings but refunding in full.
Is this a workaround that could potentially work?

The longer answer involves the fact you apparently booked after 7th June when BWC for new bookings ended.
The only way to get a free refund would be if any of the flights get cancelled or there is a schedule change of more than (I think) 2 hours but it could be 4
