I’ve triggered my companion voucher and plan to cancel the card. Does the avios earned this month still get transferred to the BA executive account. It’s normally transfers on 30th of month and plan to cancel card before then

the question to ask yourself is are the outstanding points waiting to move across worth more or less than c. £14…
Rather than cancelling, you should be able to downgrade to the free BA Amex card. That’s what I did and you get the pro rata fee refund but can continue to earn Avios on spend and benefit from any Avios accrued on spend on BAPP prior to downgrading.
NB more generally to use the companion voucher, it is a condition that you have to pay for the cash element of your flight with an Amex card (doesn’t need to be the BAPP but just flagging in case you don’t have another Amex).
