I just wanted to double check before cancelling that I don’t lose my points.
I can see both cards in the app and my MR balance. If I cancel my personal Amex Platinum my points balance should remain unaffected as my Business Platinum is live?
Are you seeing the cards linked to the same MR account? Is the MR balance the same even when you switch the cards on the app and website? If yes, then you should be fine to cancel the personal card.
I assume you have another personal card because using a business card for personal expenses is something Amex does not like and has closed accounts because of it.

Amex has definitely disliked paying off the balance on the Amex business account with personal funds, in some cases mentioned in this forum. You should discuss with your accountant how to deal with personal spend on your Amex if you are clearing it with business funds, directors loan account is the obvious choice.
Amex may also dislike personal spending, but I don’t recall cases of anyone getting into hot what with Amex for this. Some businesses spend a lot of money in places like Tesco, for instance.
