Have trawled the forums but can’t seem to find this answer, apologies if it has been discussed elsewhere.
I now have an offer to upgrade to the Avios Plus card from the standard Avios.
I’m currently £13k towards the £20k spend to be eligible for my next voucher – can anyone tell me what happens to this spend if I upgrade (obviously I know I only have to spend £10k each year to be voucher eligible on the upgraded card)Do you mean an option to upgrade? Or a real offer with some upgrade bonus avios?

Interesting! Amex only gave upgrade bonus for platinum card, havent heard of it for upgrading to BAPP.
If you switch cards the spend tracker resets to zero, so spend the next £7K first then consider whether it’s worth upgrading (after which a further £10K spend gets another voucher).
If by ‘offer to upgrade’ you mean switching to another card in the app, the 5,000 bonus should only apply if switching from a non-avios card. The marketing is rubbish, and some have reported successfully complaining and getting a result, but don’t switch just for that.

If I’m going to lose that spend I think I will wait until I’ve claimed the next voucher at £20k first.
