How long does it normally take for BA to respond to a claim via CEDR the deadline date is Tues however from checking on cedr portal no update since cedr advised the deadline date for airline to respond ?

Was for 260 comp pp for flight delay due to pilot being sick , flight landed 3hr 4 late (LHR-MIA) there were other posts about BA denying comp on this flight in the past

For me recently, on the day their response was due, I received a response from CEDR saying they had an agreed a 2 week extension for BA awaiting some further details.

Then on that revised deadline I received another response from CEDR saying they had allowed a further short extension.

And I thought I had an open and shut case.

It’s been 3 weeks and the adjudicator still hasn’t made a determination.

Based on reports BA asks for an extension and sometimes even another one after that
