Changi Airport – Early check in

Hello,
The Changi airport seems to suggest that BA allows early check in and bag drop from 14:30 at row 10 in T1 – regardless of travel class.
Has anyone any experience using this with economy ticket? Have searched the forum for early check in information but it was mentioned only for CW tickets.

PS: alternatively any experience (speed and cost) with luggage storage in Jewel?

I believe that is correct (as there is a Sydney flight that goes around 7pm) and you can use it in any class
