We are off soon with 3 separate bookings ( avios/cash o/w. and open jaw 241 as 2 separate bookings,BA and IB, made with OH and my Amex. Wanted to keep the number of cards down! No intention of using whilst away so will ‘freeze’.
Given that any Amex can be used to pay , how does that work if cardholder is not flying?

I just got an email through today. Looks like adding 3 extra cardholders on the Amex Gold Business Card (you get up to 20 for free) nets you 30k points (10k points each). Not sure if targeted. This seems to add instantly to your points balance even before the card comes and is activated, so well worth doing. I can’t find anything about this promotion on the amex website.
