BA DXB lounge still boarded up with none of the usual round-the-clock construction typical of Dubai. That September re-opening must be end of, rather than start of.
OW lounge finder updated to direct J passengers and elites to Marhaba Lounge; F passengers to Ahlan First Class Lounge. Not being a masochist, I checked in just over 3hrs ahead and scooted to the Ahlan F lounge to redeem a Dragonpass entry.
‘Noted’ vlogger Harry Jaggard was checking into the lounge, during what appeared to be a connecting itinerary. Thankfully he did not roam the lounge filming.
On-board orange juice is sadly back to the worryingly vivid stuff. Last week’s freshly squeezed bottles may be on LHR-catered only.

My Amex Gold Rewards card is showing a 14K referral bonus and 45K SUB for the new applicant this morning, which is the highest I’ve ever seen and a bit mental for a card which costs nothing for the first year!
Morning. If I make an interim payment to my BA premium amex after the statement has been generated but before the direct debit does it reduce the direct debit in the same way that Barclaycard does ? thanks.
@AndrewT, I have that also but was seduced by the 100k SUB on the Platinum for referring my OH! Coincided beautifully with the end of his 2-year hiatus 😂

Hey, Virgin Atlantic, if you’re reading: Get rid of the awful and needlessly receptive Jaggard from Vera. No one knows who he is, and, many fuchs are not given
At the very least, add a skip button.
