Good morning from 4A on Qatar Airways heading for DOH and onto CGK. Old style seat on an A350 but I like it. Service on the ground and on board so far is outstanding and we are still at the gate. Pre booked meals all confirmed by an engaging and charming crew.

Personally I think the service is better on those aircraft, the doors & density of Q suite seem to make proactive service quite challenging for the crew. Enjoy!

Big changes are afoot at All Plus Voyageur. Raffles and Fairmont are joining, but the discount rate is cut from 20% to 15%. Obviously part of that discount is just the bog standard Accor Live Limitless discount.

I purchased Voyageur this year for myself because I did a 10 day Interrail of France. Obviously there are non-Accor brand hotels in France but as it happened location wise for me I did use a different Accor property every single night. A First Class flexi pass valid for 5 travel days out of a month from your first travel day was priced at €213, an absolute bargain. Another sale has launched at https://www.interrail.eu/en. Brexit luckily did not take away our participation in Interrail. Note that if France is your destination country, the high-speed trains charge a fee to reserve a seat, which, unlike in the UK or Germany say, is mandatory.

I forgot to mention that the All Plus Voyageur headline price is coming down slightly, and some of their mode obscure brands are joining e.g. Breakfree.

not looked for years but does anyone know if the days of TopSecret lastminute.com offers to get the Sofitel in Heathrow are long gone?

Just had a Quick Look and there’s nothing offered for the dates I checked, but don’t know if that’s bad luck or just the current situation

Sofitel direct looks a bit punchy, so would probably opt for somewhere else
