I did a Vueling flight from BCN recently, it was flown with a VY flight number.
I added my Iberia club number to the booking, today I’ve noticed on my Iberia account 101 Elite points, I thought Vueling flights didn’t earn Elite points with VY flight numbers. Is this an error ?No, it’s a correct attribution – you get Iberia Club Elite points for the eligible spend on Vueling flights with either a VY or IB code.
@Richie, I think where VY flights don’t count may be for status qualification by sector, though this may have been further clarified since I last looked!
