Hello, I’m looking to book an Iberostar stay. I have a promotion code but it runs out 7 days into my 11 day booking and the site won’t honour it if I try and make a booking for the 11 night stay.
If I split it, the rate does apply to the 7 nights and not to a subsequent 4 night stay.
My question to the group is, if I book 2 reservations – 7 and 4 nights respectively – would the hotel likely combine them? I really wouldn’t want to have to move rooms after a week!
The bookings won’t be combined but the hotel eill more than likely keep you in the same room – espeially if they are the same type.
Email them a week or so before saying ‘I have booking refs xxx and yyy can you please keep me in the same room’ and then a reminder when you check in
I was going to call them, so thank you for reassuring me! I’ve saved around 15% and realised an a extra benefit of my kids being free for the one booking too.
