Hello,
I’ve used my BA Amex Premium Plus companion voucher to book outbound as Business and inbound as Economy. (The flights are in 2 months’ time) If there becomes available a Business reward seat for inbound can I phone BA to swap my Economy to that? Do I just pay the true delta in Avios and £s or some additional fees for the swap too?
Cheers
Is this short or long haul?
If you have booked ET, you can upgrade to CE, but if WT, only to PE. You will be charged the difference in avios and surcharges, plus £35 change fee pp.

That’s not quite true, if you are booked in economy long haul on avios, you can change to any cabin. Whenever you book an avios ticket and change it you are effectively just cancelling and rebooking rather than upgrading.
Its only on cash tickets where you cant use avios to upgrade multiple cabins.
