Does anybody know how to tell how much more spend you need to achieve to get your companion voucher.
It’s not obvious on the virgin website.
I just got a Amex Gold and need to spend 3K on that in the next three montha but want to ensure I don’t jeopardise the 20K I need for the companion voucher.
Thks
Chris
It’s in the VM app. Click on the ‘Rewards Lounge’ tile under ‘More’.
Actually I don’t see Rewards lounge under More or anywhere.
I can see Vouchers under Flying club but it just says I don’t have any.
When I log into the Virgin Money credit card app I can access the Rewards Lounge directly from the summary screen or from the Rewards Lounge tile accessed by clicking on the 3 dots for more options, like Rob said. It tells you your current spend, how much more you need to spend to earn a voucher and when your anniversary date is because you can only earn one voucher per year. I have the Rewards+ card. I assume you have the free card because you’ve mentioned needing to spend £20k to earn a voucher but I would expect the Rewards Lounge to show the same info whether for the free card or the fee card? Once you’ve earned a voucher you’ll see it in your Flying Club account activity.
Finally found it thanks – I was looking in the Virgin Atlantic App.
I applied for a Rewards+ card and was declined. I have no idea why, lived in current address 20+ years, same with bank, good credit rating. AMEX just approved no issue. Looks like I will dump using VA card this year as AMEX gives a full point per £1 spent as opposed to .75
Strange being turned down for the one they take money off you! We now have the opportunity to change from Reward to Reward+ at any time on line. Give that a try and see if it is accepted.
Thanks – I will try that after I complete AMEX bonus tasks.

You can also apply and, if turned down, write an email asking for a review. Unlike any other lending products provider I know of, this often results in you getting the card. It’s what I needed to do after being inexplicably turned down a second time.
I have held the +card for several years. Downgraded late last year and decided to upgrade again. I have now been refused an upgrade to where I was last year – 5 times!
However, their systems are so shite that on the latest refusal, they gave me an erroneous voucher for the 2nd time!
As a result,I came be bothered complaining but I might keep applying and see how many free vouchers I get..lol
