Hi, I want to book a one way itinerary involving 1 latam flight and 2 iberia. More direct Cash fares are extortionate. Definite award availability if I dummy book 2 of the legs at a time on iberia but nowhere (online at least) will let me book the whole journey at once. Connections are not tight but not long enough to book on 2 itineraries.
No status anywhere and I’ve not had a great experience dealing with BA phone ticketing. Before I waste time, would this even be possible? Ruling out iberia as they dont do refunds on partner airlines. Qatar maybe?
My guess is there is possibly something in the fare rules preventing ticketing because LATAM has left OneWorld.
I can book as far as Madrid without a problem (1 latam leg, 1 iberia leg). But not sure if fare rules will permit the second iberia flight, certainly won’t let me online.
If the MAD-XXX flight is missed, when is the next one?
It’s London so plenty of later flights though none with reward availability.
But it’s a 2.5 hour connection so too tight for a separate booking. Anyway will call BA to see if it’s possible!
