Is your council accepting Amex for council tax?

Our borough council has moved the payment platform to Gov.uk from some proprietary system they’ve had forever, the benefit: they now take Amex!

It shows as manual stripe.

Are most Councils using Gov.uk?

Not mine in London, but will certainly keep a look out for changes, hopefully this is a wide roll out.

Mine has always let me pay with Amex but not using Stripe as the processor.

Barnet is the worst payment system.
They do cards but not Amex.

Hertsmere BC use Civica I think which is the worst designed website in the world. I can use Visa/MC there or I can use the Coop with PayPoint and Amex.
