I’ve read both on here and on the Iberia Plus website that I can credit Avios from a Vueling flight to an Iberia Plus account, either at booking or at check-in. I only recently opened the Iberia Plus account i.e. after I had made the Vueling booking.
I’ve tried to check-in online but I can’t see anywhere to add my Iberia Plus number? Have tried both the Vueling app and the Vueling website. My Iberia Plus number is stored in my Vueling account. Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks
I just credited them to Vueling Club then did combine my avios to transfer them.
Unfortunately as my Iberia account is brand new I have to ‘earn’ on it before I can transfer into it I believe? I have some Avios from previous trips with Vueling that I will transfer once I’ve ‘activated’ my Iberia account
Does your flight have an IB or VY flight number?
It’s a VY number, does that mean I can’t?
No, it doesn’t mean that. It’s easy to add your IB number during booking; after booking I can’t see any way to add or change it. Maybe you have to call them or ask them at check in.
It’s complicated https://www.headforpoints.com/2024/02/15/how-to-earn-and-spend-avios-on-vueling-flights-2/
That article does massively overcomplicate something that is quite simple – the 4 summary bullet points to the end of the article actually tell you most of what you need to know in simpler fashion.
