Deciding on CP or Hilton T4. Familiar with the Hilton and Lounge, also with CP but never used the lounge. Anyone any experience of using the CP lounge?
Thanks
yes, In the CP, the lounge is on the 6th floor, hidden away at the back of the hotel as you go round the mazes of the floor, selection is okay food wise, as you’ve a fridge with a variety of soft drinks/water/alcohol which is fully stacked along with a few dishes of finger foods to your disposal, the lounge itself is small as there is quite a few seats but can fill up quite quickly.
The food and booze are only offered during a couple of hours in the evening.
There is no breakfast offering.
Other than that there is a coffee machine and soft drinks in a fridge and sone fruit and crisps.
It’s not a club I’d pay extra to use though even via a club room if you’re wanting to create dinner for example.
Currently here as we speak…..has improved a lot as of late. More tables etc. Improving the food offering with soup and bread rolls etc. They have recently taken on a new F&B Manager and they have made a number of changes over the last few weeks. Last week was mega busy but tonight wasn’t even half full. The team are very attentive. Worth a visit if you are in a club room or just have general lounge access from your IHG lounge pass.
If you select a room which includes lounge access, does that get you breakfast – even if it is not served in the lounge?
Hi,
I am currently a Diamond Elite member with both IHG and Hilton Honors. I am holding 2 points award booking for one night at both the Hilton Heathrow T4 and the Crowne Plaza Hotel Heathrow T4. I am confused as to which one I should keep and cancel. I have heard the CP lounge is not very good but how is the Hilton Executive lounge at T4? How are the rooms at both hotels and which is better? Your input and feedback will help me to stay with one and cancel the other. Will await your reply and feedback.

CP rooms are better, Hilton lounge is better. I usually decide based on price and any active promos/whether i’m chasing nights

There’s always the adjacent Premier Inn. They are all quite dreary/soulless but it’s difficult to argue with £54, even if the PI doesn’t have a lounge.

At the CP?
Then yes it does.
In March I was upgraded to a suite that included club access and was given a letter and told by the receptionist that breakfast was included and served in the main restaurant. Next morning my name was indeed on the list at the door.
That does seem to differ from when using my lounge pass as on previous visits I had to use my diamond benefit for breakfast but on those visits I wasn’t in a club room.

Had exactly the same experience earlier this month.
However always look at price. Recently there was no availability at CP/HIX/Hilton so booked Premier Inn. It’s fine and have used many times. So as @JDB says, go with the price, as there can be a huge difference.
If you need to get to T5 very early, take the bus. There can be huge gaps in underground service.
