I have recently got a new Virgin Atlantic credit card. My first statement showed that I had incurred a cash advance fee and interest for using Curve to buy Premium Bonds so decided not to do that any more. My second statement also showed an interest charge. I have just spoken to an agent who has told me that interest is charged on ANY transaction put through Curve as Virgin consider Curve a financial institution so beware using Curve with a Virgin Atlantic credit card.
No issues at all with regular merchant payments through Curve.
As John said above, you need to pay off everything if you have triggered a cash advance.
