Cathay Pacific price match promise success

So used skyscanners to get a price premium economy LHR -HKG return xxx price quoted from some company never heard of , website tab still open

Checked cx website – approx 100pp more , took risk and booked via CX at the more expensive rate

Once booked , submitted price match , took screen shot of the price sent to cx – 24 hours later approved and was told refund would show in 2-3 weeks , refund posted on Amex 3 days later

Very impressed

Other agency didn’t show booking class , just said premium economy – also didn’t show breakdown just total pp
