Been tracking actual (NOT estimated) flight arrival and departure times on the BA and Heathrow apps for a recent tight connection (for which many helped on another thread) and they are different.
Heathrow app claims an incoming BA flight from Hong Kong landed six minutes earlier than the supposed actual landing time displayed on the BA app. When it comes to departures, the situation is reversed. BA app claims a flight to Newcastle departed on time, while the Heathrow app records it as departing 18 minutes late.
Any thoughts on which app is more accurate?
On the app BA usually posts the arrival time (at the gate) rather than the landing time and similarly on departure BA records the time the aircraft left the gate rather than the takeoff/airborne time. Heathrow records all the different times.

That explains the discrepancy, thanks. Although I can only see one time on the Heathrow app, which must be the landing time. Can’t understand why Heathrow don’t post the gate time as well (which would be far more useful to most people).
